Celery leaf Pesto

General Information

Celery leaf pesto suitable for babies over 12+ (for the salt) the salt can be consumed in VERY small amounts from one year onwards.
You can use it to season whatever you like! Pasta, chicken, toast, crackers, etc.


  • 1 cup of green leaves, whatever you have or like, can be coriander, basil, beet, spinach, celery, carrot, etc.
  • 1/2 cup of the nut of your preference (cashew, peanut, almonds, Brazil nut, macadamia, etc) the original recipe is with pine nuts, but I used pistachio.
  • 1/2 cup fresh whole Parmesan cheese. (Not the dust one)
  • 1/2 cup of strange virgin olive oil avocado (the original is with Extra Virgin Olive Oil) (Use more if you want it liquid, because with that amount it is kind of spreadable).
  • 1 large or 2 small garlic cloves.
  • 1 large lime or 2 small lemons.
  • 1/2 teaspoon of pink (Himalayan) or sea salt.


Process everything in the blender, leave a little texture and that’s it!
